Meet the Doctor

After studying Biology at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Dr. Daniel Morais attended the New England College of Optometry, in Boston Massachusetts, where he earned his doctorate in Optometry. As a post-graduate at the New England College of Optometry, he was elected into the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society. Dr. Morais has served as an extern at the VA Medical Center in Portland, Oregon; the Dorchester House clinic in Dorchester, Massachusetts; Aran Eye Associates in Miami, Florida; and the Brooke Army Medical Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. He was certified in the state of Texas as a therapeutic optometrist in August of 2004 before going on to earn his glaucoma specialist license in April 2008. Dr. Daniel Morais is listed in the Consumer Research Council of America’s 2012 “Guide to America’s Top Optometrists.” Dr. Morais began practicing Optometry at Master Eye Associates in 2004 before moving to the Saginaw area in the summer of 2005 where he continues to provide exceptional eye care to this day.

Dr. Morais is the founder of two non-profit charities to which he dedicates a substantial amount of his time and money. He also enjoys reading, weightlifting and travelling both nationally and abroad.
